Bailey & McGuire Pottery was established in 1998
when two old friends, Roberta Bailey and Dave McGuire, accepted a challenge by
The California Department of Parks and Recreation to create a pottery and crafts
concession.
With over 50 years of combined experience in the art world, Bailey
and McGuire, with the shared belief that craft transcends time, have created an
ever-changing display of locally made pottery, exotic ethnic crafts and colorful
art from around the world.
Bailey & McGuire Pottery is located in the historic Wrightington
Adobe, once the home of Juanita Machado de Wrightington, within Old Town San Diego
State Historic Park. You’ll enjoy your visit to this skillfully reconstructed
adobe with its historic rose garden as much as you will enjoy the display gallery
and the demonstration studio of Bailey & McGuire Pottery.
Thank you and enjoy your visit.
