Laura's
high temperature (2400° F) stoneware pottery is completely functional.
It may be used in the oven, dishwasher or microwave.
All her glazes are lead-free. Baking pieces should
be at room temperature before placing in the oven. Pottery cleans
easily. For stubborn burned material, soak in water a few minutes,
then rub off.
Laura has been an active potter most
of her life. She has studied with two of Japan's National Treasures
and other world notable potters. Retired after twenty years as a
pottery instructor for the Grossmont Adult Education School District,
she owns and operates a teaching studio and art gallery in El Cajon
(San Diego County),California.
